When i tune in to the national debate surrounding immigration i wonder in amazement how close this country is to signing a Mexican Removal Act. If you remember, in 1830 president Andrew Jackson signed into law the Indian Removal Act, in which Cherokee peoples were cast out of their homelands and sent westward in a historic forced migration known as the Trail of Tears. If we research the sheer atrocity of the Trail of Tears, the legal precedence set by the slave trading of black lives on auction blocks, and the historical tendency to persecute and prosecute “aliens” as laid out in the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 and the modern Patriot Act of 2002 we can deduce that, quite possibly, this is what we’ve come to expect from american presidents. Casting out the aliens. But will it be possible for our “messenger of hope” to part ways with the legacy of casting peoples of color out of our neighborhoods and native lands? Fortunately Barrack does support some type of amnesty for undocumented immigrants however he believes that if you came here illegally you’re gonna hafta throw some back taxes and other fees into the pot as a penalty.

Well mr. obama this leads me to a real serious question for you: since when have we been penalizing illegal aliens for immigrating here? Because if i recall correctly, the first puritans that hopped off the mayflower were trespassing like a muh f@*!er. As americans we’ve never really given any preference to the native people that were here first. We infect them with smallpox. we throw them on reservations. Historically, the laws have been made to benefit the most illegal of aliens, oftentimes legally sanctioning their criminal activities. So if we want to start taxing my folkz and neighbors for hustling norte to survive i propose that we add some stipulations in the tax code for previous cheaters. We have to think back to the first illegal aliens. In other words, we can start by taxing the estates of john smith, andrew jackson and ronald mcdonald and using those funds to address the concerns of the native and legal citizens of these lands, indigenous peoples.
